Stefan Kanfer, 1933-2018

Co-founder of the Rivertowns Table Tennis Club, the predecessor of the Westchester TTC, Stefan Kanfer was a longtime writer/editor for Time magazine and the author of best-selling biographies of Marlon Brando, Lucille Ball, Groucho Marx, and other celebrities. A wit, a raconteur, a good friend, and member #1 of the Westchester TTC. We miss him.

On Sunday, March 4, eight members of the Madison (NJ) 'Y' TTC came to Westchester for a friendly interclub competition. All players were rated 1700-2050. Will Shortz celebrated playing table tennis for his 1,000th consecutive day on June 30, 2015.
